How Long Does a Kitchen Remodel Take?

Remodeling your kitchen can be an exciting endeavor but waiting to see the finished product can be nerve-wracking. You may be wondering how long your kitchen remodeling project will take to complete.

The length of time for your kitchen remodel will depend on the contractor that you use and the degree of work that you wish to have completed. To get a better idea of the kitchen remodeling process, we have broken it down into phases:

Planning and Designing

Planning and designing are two of the most important factors of your kitchen remodel and will serve as the foundation for the entire project. You’ll want to begin by crafting a general idea of what you want your kitchen to look like. Think of the colors, materials, and elements you want to include in your kitchen.

You will also want to set a budget before you get too far into the planning and design process. It’s best to have a realistic budget in mind, so you don’t run into issues as the project progresses.
You will then meet with our professional designers who will work closely with you to help you form a workable plan for your kitchen. With our Inspired By You Design Process, we will help you design your space based on your lifestyle, preferences, and needs to ensure your kitchen fits seamlessly into your life.

Ordering Materials

Once we’ve finalized a design for your kitchen, it is time to begin ordering your materials. Before ordering them, you will need to decide on countertops, hardware, cabinets, appliances, paint colors, light fixtures, backsplashes, and more.

To ensure you receive the products you want for your remodel, you will have the opportunity to handle samples of products so that you can touch, feel, and see them up close for an accurate idea of how they will fit into your design. Once you’ve chosen your materials, they will be ordered from our top suppliers and manufactures to ensure you receive high-quality materials for your remodel.

On-Site Work

Before the new kitchen is built, the old kitchen will be demolished and removed. After this is complete, the installation of your new kitchen will begin. Using trained and qualified electricians and plumbers, we will install your flooring, lighting, cabinets, etc. to ensure your kitchen performs and lasts for your years to come. The length of time for the on-site work will depend on the degree of work that you are requesting to have done.

Each kitchen remodeling project is unique, so the timelines tend to vary. Before we begin your project, we will provide you with an estimated timeline for your convenience, and we will not leave a job once we start it.
